We work closely with leaders in our community to make sure our efforts make the greatest impact where help is needed most.
Serving our neighbors
When it comes to investing in our community, we listen. That’s why we do a community health needs assessment – not just to get data, but also direct feedback to better understand how we can support your needs.
Tri-county health improvement plan
We’ve prioritized these areas based on our 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment.
We provide medical care, including oral health support, to people who might not have a regular doctor or insurance, making sure everyone can get the care they need. Our Mobile Health Program even allows us to bring healthcare directly to areas where there is the greatest need.
Through our clinical preventative services, we teach people how to stay healthy, offer preventive care and provide screenings to catch health problems early. Cancer prevention has especially been a priority for us. Check out our upcoming community events to see where we'll be next.
We partner to provide mental health services, counseling, and support for people dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or other behavioral health challenges. Our efforts also include work to reduce substance misuse and addiction.
We offer programs designed for adults who need help with weight loss, nutrition and exercise. We also help get food to those in need by investing in healthy food programs.
We support moms and babies with care before, during and after birth, to help them start healthy lives together. This includes providing education and resources on sexual and reproductive health.
Wellness, outreach and education support
In 2025, Roper St. Francis Healthcare served thousands of our neighbors in support of wellness, outreach and education events. Our staff contributed 1,900 hours in community service. And we supported 67 organizations with sponsorships.
We try to provide a safe, encouraging space where older adults can be active at their own pace. It’s about meeting people where they are in their wellness journey and helping them stay independent and connected for as long as possible.”
From the time I walked in for a breast cancer screening until everything was completed, it was an absolutely amazing experience! Everyone was very courteous, professional, very knowledgeable, and willing to assist. Thank you all for being the light in my day and I’m sure many others.”
