Virtual care

Virtual visits are often used for common concerns, such as:

• Care for minor illnesses or symptoms 
• Follow-up visits with your provider
• Medication refills (controlled substances excluded) or questions 
• Quick medical guidance or reassurance

Some follow-up care is also available through a virtual visit. Your provider can help you determine if you need in-person care.

All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera, microphone, and an internet connection. We’ll guide you through the process, so you feel prepared. Virtual visits are conducted through secure platforms that protect your personal health information, just like an in-person visit.

The cost of your insurance copay. You may be required to pay for this visit, so please have a credit card or your bank account information available

Most virtual visits take about 10–20 minutes, depending on your needs.

Virtual care is a great option for non-emergency concerns, follow-ups or when you prefer to be seen from home. If your condition requires a physical exam  we would recommend an in-person visit.

If appropriate, your provider may prescribe a new medication or refill an existing one during your visit and send it directly to your pharmacy.

If additional care is needed, we’ll help you schedule an in-person appointment or connect you with the right specialist, so your care continues without interruption.
