We believe in human touch, providing comfort and treating our patients and one another with dignity. Your work will directly impact lives, helping people and families in our community feel seen, supported, and cared for. Every Roper St. Francis Healthcare hospital is recognized by the ANCC for our exceptional patient care, and our goal is to achieve Magnet® designation across the entire system by 2030.
Work alongside nurses, physicians, and staff who value collaboration and respect. We promote work-life balance, so we provide flexible schedule options. In approved units, we offer weekend-only work (WOW). The WOW program helps meet special staffing needs and allows nurses to work three 12-hour weekend shifts and receive extra compensation. Share knowledge, grow together, and feel supported in every shift.
Roper St. Francis Nursing has professional governance that involves direct care nurses in decision-making regarding professional practice, research, quality, patient safety, and professional advancement. These councils focus on such issues as nursing policies, evidence-based practice and process improvement, quality and patient safety, nursing research, specialty certification and continuing education, informatics, RN turnover rates and retention activities, and recognition of our nurses' achievements.
Advance your nursing career with ongoing education, certifications, mentorship programs and opportunities to grow in specialty areas or leadership roles. In addition to competitive pay and health benefits, we offer scholarships, a tuition reimbursement program and various student loan relief programs. As you grow in your career, there are always opportunities to earn more with special charge differentials, preceptor stipends or by earning a BSN or MSN degree.
Deliver excellent care with access to modern technology, equipment and innovative therapies that help you achieve the best outcomes for your patients.
Make a difference beyond the bedside. We believe healthcare is a human right, and nobody should be disadvantaged when it comes to their care. Our nurses are welcome and encouraged to participate in our volunteer programs, health fairs and initiatives that improve the health and well-being of our community.
