Inpatient rehabilitation takes place while you’re in the hospital or at a rehab facility. You’ll have access to around-the-clock nursing care as well as laboratory, pharmacy and imaging services. Outpatient rehab is appointment-based. You’ll travel to our facilities or clinics and return home after treatment, just as you would for a doctor’s appointment. 

Our average inpatient stay is about 12 days, but recovery depends a lot on the type of trauma and your individual case. In many cases, continuing with home care or outpatient rehab can provide additional support and improve recovery after you are released from the hospital.

Family members and caregivers play a critical role in easing your transition back home and helping with recovery. We provide resources, education and support for both patients and their family or caretakers.

Insurance often covers inpatient brain injury rehabilitation. However, it’s always important to check with your provider to verify details. There may be coverage limitations and, in many cases, preauthorization is required. Deductibles and copays may also apply.
