Our urologic oncology team uses advanced testing to understand your condition and guide next steps, including:

  • Biopsy and molecular testing to confirm cancer and define the type, grade and stage
  • Blood and urine tests to detect signs of cancer
  • Imaging (CT, MRIto show the size and location of a tumor
  • Physical exams to check for visible signs of disease

These insights help us recommend the right next steps and begin planning your care.

Your care plan is thoughtfully designed around your cancer type, stage and overall health. Treatment options may include:

  • Chemotherapy to shrink or kill cancer via pill form or through IV infusion
  • Immunotherapy to harness your immune system to stop cancer
  • Interventional therapies, such as cryotherapy, radiofrequency ablation and irreversible electroporation, to destroy cancer
  • Intravesical therapy to deliver medication directly into the bladder to treat cancer at its source
  • Radiation therapy to shrink tumors before surgery and reduce risk of recurrence after surgery
  • Surgical resection to remove cancer via robotic urologic surgery,l aparoscopic surgery or open surgery
  • Targeted therapy to block specific signals to the cancer cells and their environment
