New cancer drug approved with support of Roper St. Francis Healthcare

Roper St. Francis Healthcare had more patients than anywhere else in the world enrolled in the clinical trial of Opdivo, which recently was approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration to treat lung cancer.

Dr. Gene Saylors with Charleston Oncology served as lead investigator for the trial.
