New Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Orthopaedics location open in Summerville

The Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Orthopaedics North Street location is now open in the heart of Summerville.

The new location will serve as an extension of Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital-based providers. The office will offer a full array of musculoskeletal care. As a testament to the community need for orthopaedics care, both providers at this location had 100 percent of their schedules filled on opening day.

Roper St. Francis Healthcare’s orthopaedics program is the largest in the Charleston region, with more than 10,000 surgeries and 120,000 outpatient visits annually. It was recently recognized among the 100 best programs in the country, according to Becker’s Hospital Review. The system was one of only two in South Carolina to receive that honor.

The opening of this office marks the beginning of multiple orthopaedics location expansions and opening throughout the first half of 2024. Later in the month, the opening of a new clinic on Folly Road will create a comprehensive campus for orthopaedic care. An expansion of the clinic at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in West Ashley rounds out the changes in April.
