Roper St. Francis Healthcare's new Express Care in the bustling West Ashley Circle shopping center is now open. Located at 3885 West Ashley Circle Unit F600 Charleston, SC.
This is the first Express Care dedicated to serving West Ashley residents. The four other Express Cares are on James Island, in North Charleston and two are in Summerville.
Express Cares serve as a “front door” to our healthcare system and have been an invaluable resource for patients during COVID-19, said Dr. John Rowe.
“They really helped the community whether it was flipping on virtual care quickly or doing curbside parking lot evaluations or inventing and reinventing how we test for the virus now,” said Rowe, medical director of our Integrated Practice Network for primary care.

Roper St. Francis Express Cares offer patients affordable health care services without an appointment for most non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses, such as cold or flu symptoms, sore throat, sinus infection, earaches, upset stomachs, diarrhea or vomiting, sprains and cuts or scrapes. Patients don’t need an appointment and can access on-site lab and X-ray services.
West Ashley is expected to continue to see additional homes and business in the next 10-15 years as the metropolitan area grows to as many as 1 million residents. The area around West Ashley Circle Center, in particular, with a Walmart and Harris Teeter nearby is booming with traffic and growth.
The West Ashley Roper St. Francis Express Care will be open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
