DAISY, which stands for Diseases Attacking the Immune System, is an international program that celebrates the extraordinary compassion, skill and dedication of nurses. Created in memory of J. Patrick Barnes, the DAISY Award honors nurses who make a meaningful difference in the lives of their patients. At Roper St. Francis Healthcare, the award recognizes nurses who exemplify excellence in clinical care and compassionate service. Any teammate, patient or family member is welcome to submit a nomination.
