Roper St. Francis Healthcare ranks as No. 2 employer by Forbes

Roper St. Francis Healthcare ranked No. 2 on the America’s Best Employers list for South Carolina, according to results released by Forbes magazine.

This is a big jump from last year when we ranked No. 19 in the state.

The list was created by surveying 70,000 Americans who worked for companies with at least 500 employees. The list highlights the 1,382 employers receiving the most recommendations.

The questions covered numerous topics, such as safe working conditions, fair pay, inclusive culture, remote work, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Fifty-five employers in South Carolina were ranked.
