We have great news regarding the relationship between Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital and UnitedHealthcare (UHC).
Roper St. Francis Healthcare and UnitedHealthcare have signed amendments to add Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital to UHC’s commercial and Medicare Advantage Networks, effective May 15, 2021. This means patients will have in-network access to all Roper St. Francis Healthcare physicians and facilities throughout the Lowcountry through the end of 2024.
The relationships between our patients and caregivers are sacred, and we are grateful to have reached an agreement that protects these special bonds. We look forward to continuing to enhance access and provide high-quality care while living our mission of “healing all people with compassion, faith and excellence.”
