As of Friday, January 16, to help protect patients, visitors and our care teams during this flu surge, we are implementing temporary masking and visitation guidance in hospitals, hospital-based outpatient departments and hospital-based Physician Partners clinics.
Guidelines for visiting hospitals and hospital-based outpatient departments:
- We encourage visitors to wear a mask while visiting our facilities.
- Visitors with flu-like or respiratory symptoms are asked to postpone their visit or wear a mask.
- Due to high flu activity among children, visits from children under 12 are restricted, with limited exceptions.
These targeted measures are designed to reduce the spread of flu and other respiratory viruses and will be reassessed weekly. Thank you for your cooperation.
