Monday, April 4, 2022 - Roper St. Francis sponsors signature gathering spot in Goose Creek

In a show of its commitment to the Berkeley County community, Roper St. Francis Healthcare is taking on a 10-year sponsorship of a new Goose Creek gathering spot.

RSFH is honored to sponsor the new Casey Pavilion, which will serve as the heart of the Central Creek Park for residents to meet, work and play.

“The Roper St. Francis Casey Pavilion will be a place for residents of all ages to gather for a combination of health, wellness, fitness and fellowship” said Patrick Bosse, associate vice president and chief administrative officer of Roper St. Francis Berkley Hospital.

The 13-acre park at 101 Old Moncks Corner Road is slated to open in 2023 and will be the “flagship experience in the City’s ongoing commitment to serving the community with excellent health, wellness, recreation, and social activities that enhance our awareness, connectivity, and quality of life,” according to the city of Goose Creek.

“This will truly be a place for community to gather and grow together,” said Bosse.

As the park develops, Roper St. Francis health experts plan to share their expertise by providing tips to avoid injuries while enjoying the park’s facilities.
