RSFH to host blood drives to help critically low supply
Community members are welcome to sign up to donate blood the week of July 5-9.
RSFH will host a series of blood drives in partnership with the Blood Connection. All donors will receive a $20 Visa electronic gift card after donating.
The local blood supply is now critically low after months of historically low blood donor turnout. Local hospitals have consumed twice as much blood as the community has donated, according to the latest data from The Blood Connection. Our community is inching dangerously close to a blood shortage.
