Children’s Care in the Emergency Room
While all of our emergency rooms are capable of treating children, the Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital emergency department has received a pediatric-ready accreditation in partnership with MUSC. Our emergency room is equipped to handle children’s emergencies, with specialized equipment, specialily trained staff and care policies and procedures in place that meet nationally recognized standards.
In the event that your child requires extended care beyond the ER, we also provide short-term medical treatment in-hospital through our children’s unit at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital.
