Do something for your health – volunteer! Research shows that people who volunteer have lower rates of depression, lowers levels of stress, and an improved sense of well-being and purpose in life. What’s the best way to get started?
Attend the Lowcountry Senior Center’s Volunteer Fair and visit with local organizations to learn more about their volunteer opportunities especially for individuals age 50 and older.
Free and open to the public.
*Interested Non-Profit Organizations: If your organization is interested in having a table at the fair, please complete the registration form and return it to the Lowcountry Senior Center Attn: Kimberly Palmer by Friday, January 18, 2019. We kindly request a $10 donation to cover the cost of renting the tables for the event payable to Lowcountry Senior Center in advance or the day of the event. A donation is not required to participate in the fair. Space is on a limited availability on a first come basis. Once we have received your registration form, we will be in contact with confirmation.
