To prepare you for your new position we offer a comprehensive orientation process.

The general Roper St. Francis Healthcare portion of the orientation is being provided online through Red Carpet, the same portal new teammates use for their on-boarding paperwork.

  • There are three orientation tasks: a New Hire Welcome Video, New Hire Orientation Modules and Application and Hiring Evaluation.
  • These orientation tasks can be completed on the starting day, or before. They do not need to be completed prior to the pre-employment physical and drug screening appointment.
  • If a new teammate does not have a computer to use at home, the new teammate can coordinate with their hiring manager to complete these tasks onsite.
  • The completion of these tasks take approximately three hours. The timekeeper for the department will add the paid time to your timecard for the start date.
  • New teammates will check with their supervisor to determine the schedule for the remainder of the week.
  • Nursing personnel will receive schedules from Professional Development regarding nursing-specific orientation and where to report the remainder of the week.
