Roper St. Francis Healthcare ends 2011 as South Carolina's leader in robotic colorectal surgery, and the patients are the winners. Having completed more than 100 procedures, Board Certified Physician Jorges Lagares-Garcia has led RSF to the top of the leader board for robotic colorectal surgery with 38 cases performed at RSF's Roper Hospital and more than 100 performed during his career. The healthcare system ranks fourth in the nation for this delicate robotic operation.
