Access to Healthcare

Roper Saint Francis provides uninsured patients a number of ways in which to access health care.

One way is through our financial assistance program.

Another way is to meet with the staff of the Medicaid Navigator Program. The program staff will meet with you individually to help you apply for publicly supported programs such as Medicaid, Medicare and disability. We meet with patients at a number of local outreach centers, schools and churches. The staff can also help you identify resources to help you pay for your medications. The Program staff can be reached at (843) 402-2851.

If you are currently an inpatient without insurance, there are other options to assist you. A representative of the finance office will meet with you and/or your family to help you decide which choices might be the best for you.

If you are having difficulty paying for your prescription medicine, please call (843) 402-2851.
