Dr. Blase Carabello is a lauded cardiovascular researcher whose work has appeared in more than 500 medical journals, books and editorials. Dr. Carabello earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and cardiology fellowship at Harvard Medical School. He has served as president of the Society for Heart Valve Disease and the Association of University Cardiologists. He is the program director for the new valve program at Roper St. Francis Healthcare.

Dr. Brett Baker is board certified in cardiology. Dr. Bunting is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His interests include interventional cardiology and valvular heart disease, emphasizing innovative technologies like TAVR.

He earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania, in 2016. He completed his residency and fellowship at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in 2019. Dr. Goldbach's interests include preventive cardiovascular disease and the management of complex lipid disorders.

He earned his medical degree at Mercer University Medical School and completed his residency at Emory University. Dr. O'Steen is a part of the LAA Closure/Watchman and MitraClip programs at Roper St. Francis Healthcare. His interests include general and interventional cardiology with a focus on structural heart diseases.

Dr. Pinto completed her general cardiology fellowship at Georgetown University/Medstar Washington Hospital Center. Her interests include non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, heart failure, nuclear cardiology, cardio-oncology and cardiovascular research. She is the heart failure program director at Roper St. Francis Healthcare.

His interests include TAVR and catheter directed thrombectomy.

Kelly Guerrero, PA-C, MPAS, is a nationally certified physician assistant with more than 15 years of cardiology experience. She earned her undergraduate degree from Miami University in Ohio and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina. She has a special interest in structural heart disease and practices in both the valve and heart failure clinics.

Kelly Stacy, RN, MSN, earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Marian College in Indiana and a Master of Science in Nursing at Charleston Southern University. She's received extensive training in structural heart coordinating with a focus on transcatheter valve therapy. She has launched several structural heart programs, including TAVR and MitraClip. She is highly devoted to being a patient advocate and ensuring that moving through the healthcare system is smooth and effortless.

Melissa Tecosky, RN, PCCN-K, earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and her nursing degree from Trident Technical College. Melissa practiced as a cardiac bedside nurse for 10 years before shifting into her role as the Afib Coordinator. She has continued to grow the left atrial appendage closure program (Watchman), launched the Convergent hybrid ablation procedure and has critical involvement in the Catalyst clinical trial. Melissa is dedicated to creating a positive experience for patients and providers.
