Information Session

Patients interested in surgery or the intragastric balloon are required to participate in a free information session before scheduling their initial consultation. This session are designed to introduce you to our program. You can participate online.

Do you qualify?

Calculate your BMI

To qualify, your Body Mass Index (BMI) should be 40 or greater. If your BMI is between 35-40, then you must have at least one significant co-morbidity (serious medical problem). Individuals with a BMI of 30-35 with at least one significant co-morbidity qualify for the LAP-BAND® Adjustable Gastric Banding System. Those with BMI of 30-40 qualify for the intragastric balloon.

Online session
You may participate in the online session at any time. Before taking the session, you will need to register and set up an account. Once you have completed the registration, you may begin watching the video session. The online session lasts approximately 30 minutes. After viewing the video, please complete the quiz and patient health history form. Once submitted, our team will be notified and will contact you to schedule an appointment.
