The Roper St. Francis Foundation is excited to announce a $2 million gift from Hank and Laurel Greer.

Although currently undecided where their generous gift will be designated, it is certain to make an incredible impact on the lives of men and women in the Lowcountry.

The generosity of the Greers has spanned decades, and the Roper St. Francis Foundation feels eternally grateful for their selfless and philanthropic vision to improve the lives of others.

“While we both came from very humble beginnings, we have been blessed to be in a position we are now to give back,” said Hank and Laurel. “Our focus is on helping the disadvantaged and the people with silent killers like colon cancer, prostate cancer and bladder cancer. We also have gotten such a heartfelt reward from seeing how wonderfully the Greer Transitions Clinic is helping the less fortunate in the Lowcountry. It gives us such pride to be able to help Roper St. Francis Healthcare achieve its objectives of healing with compassion, faith and excellence.”

We are immensely grateful for the Greers’ continued generous support and we look forward to working with them to put this gift toward an area that means the most to them. Without the support of donors like the Greers, we would not be able to make such a tremendous impact on the community.
