Roper St. Francis Healthcare celebrates PRIDE 2021
Roper St. Francis Healthcare wishes the entire Charleston LGBTQ+ community a happy and safe PRIDE 2021.
Park Circle PRIDE is an opportunity for the healthcare system to show its support for an increasingly diverse and inclusive community. We are proud to be included in several of the festivities this week and hold out hope that Charleston PRIDE week will return safely in full swing later this summer.
Roper St. Francis Healthcare is committed to providing affirming and high-quality healthcare to all people. We are also fortunate to have the
Ryan White Wellness Center, a nationally- recognized comprehensive sexual health center that specializes in PrEP and PEP while offering low-to-no cost healthcare regardless of insurance or residency status. The center also offers food and housing assistance, affirming mental health counseling, eye care, dental services and a welcoming safe space to those who need our services most.
Though often underserved, marginalized and stigmatized, the LGBTQ+ community continues to be relentless in the pursuit of accountability, equity and healthcare that caters to their unique needs. Roper St. Francis Healthcare is committed to this charge, and will continue to expand our range of services so that we may better serve the needs of our community. We stand behind our LGBTQ+ patients, teammates and neighbors and join in their calls for justice.
