Dr. Purser’s philosophy of care is simple: he views himself as a human being helping other human beings. This outlook shapes his approach, where he emphasizes the importance of listening, not rushing and treating patients as he would want to be treated. His experience in resource-limited settings has made him capable of managing as much as possible in-office, reserving specialist referrals for when they are truly necessary. He is skilled in a range of outpatient procedures, including joint injections, skin biopsies, intralesional injections and women’s health procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertions. In addition, he spent multiple years caring for patients suffering from a wide range of addictions.
