Heart Disease Treatment Options

Our heart doctors have access to the latest technologies and therapies to treat your heart disease.

Coronary Bypass Surgery

During coronary bypass surgery, a bypass is created by grafting a piece of another vessel above and below the blocked area of a coronary artery, enabling blood to flow around the obstruction.

Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Catheterization

Cardiac catheterization is performed to further evaluate coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congestive heart failure, and/or certain congenital heart conditions when other less invasive types of diagnostic tests indicate the presence of one of these conditions.

Minimally Invasive Heart Surgery

Our minimally invasive heart surgery program is dedicated to the clinical performance of cardiac and non-cardiac thoracic surgery through limited incisions using the most advanced surgical techniques.

An electrophysiological study (EP study) is an invasive procedure that evaluates abnormal heart rhythms.

Interventional Cardiology

Interventional cardiology refers to procedures that are specific to treatments for structural heart diseases.  The cardiologist has special training to work specifically with catheter-based treatments for structural heart diseases.
