Neuroscience Program

Speech Therapy

Our speech therapists can help restore function and improve your life in a variety of ways. Our therapists evaluate and treat individuals with communicative, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing disorders such as dysphagia, aphasia, cognition deficits associated with a stroke, traumatic brain injury, craniotomies, dysarthria and laryngectomy. Our speech therapists also work with other neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis (MS) and head and neck cancers.

Our speech therapists will determine the extent of a patient's impairment and develop an in- or outpatient treatment plan.

Speech therapy requires a doctor’s referral and is available in our inpatient as well as our outpatient setting.
