Roper St. Francis Healthcare hires national leader for Berkeley County development
CHARLESTON, S.C. (Aug. 11, 2014) – Roper St. Francis Healthcare has moved forward in its planned medical campus for Berkeley County by hiring Lillibridge Healthcare Services as the developer to oversee the project.
Roper St. Francis Healthcare will open about 60,000 square feet of medical offices and outpatient facilities in the Carnes Crossroads area in 2015. The site will offer diagnostic imaging, urgent care and oncology services. Roper St. Francis Healthcare plans to construct its fourth flagship hospital on the same site. The next immediate step will be obtaining detailed surveys of the more than 90 acres of land near the intersection of U.S. highways 176 and 17A where the development will be constructed.

Lillibridge successfully has completed more than 150 similar projects in 40 states, and the company only works with hospitals and healthcare systems.
