DreamPool for PRNs at Roper St. Francis

Does a minimum weekend requirement, flexible schedule and an hourly rate of $30-$45 sound too good to be true? Discover the Roper St. Francis Healthcare DreamPool, our answer to the ultimate in flexible scheduling, at top dollar salaries.

The DreamPool is a system-wide nurse float pool for Roper and Bon Secours St. Francis hospitals that rewards clinical skill and commitment to flexibility. RNs may choose from several options designed to give personal choice of salary, schedules and float requirements to best meet your lifestyle and career needs.

DreamPool options include:

  • A choice of working full time, part-time or PRN
  • A minimum hourly commitment of 24 hours per pay period
  • A minimum weekend commitment of one shift per 4 weeks
  • 8- or 12-hour shifts
  • Eligibility for shift, weekend and holiday differentials
  • Additional compensation for floating between specialty areas

DreamPool PRN Options for RNs*


PRN Option 1 - $30-$40 per hour
Commitment: Available to work a minimum of 24 hours per pay period, including one weekend shift per four weeks. No shift requirements.

PRN Option 2 - $32-$42 per hour
Commitment: Available to work 64-72 hours per pay period, 50 percent of which on the evening or night shift, including two weekend shifts per four weeks.

PRN Option 3 - $35-$45 per hour
Commitment: Available to work 64-72 hours per pay period, 100 percent evening or night shift, including two weekend shifts per four weeks.

Additional $3/hour differential paid to floating between two or more specialty areas (med/surg, stepdown, ICU, and behavioral medicine-at St. Francis only) plus shift differentials

*Pay ranges include evenings, nights, weekends, and specialty float differential (as applicable)


DreamPool RN Benefited Position - Limited Positions Available


RN Advanced Pool

  • Floats within two specialty areas and both facilities
  • Differential: $4/hour plus shift differentials


Compensation for full-time personnel in the DreamPool is based on years of experience, with added differentials for the shift worked and for floating. FT/PT DreamPool employees may be eligible for benefits. A limited number of benefited positions are available.

9/3 Seasonal Plan
Commitment: September - May. Can take summers off, or reduce commitment; available for options II & III. (this is available at the manager’s discretion based on census and number of staff requesting the time)
