We offer a wide range of exercise classes to meet everyone’s needs and level of interest. In addition to the classes being great for the mind, body and soul, they are great fun and give you an opportunity to meet lots of new people. If you are not sure which class is right for you, talk to our Wellness Manager, Aleshia Parrish.
Personal Trainer
A personal trainer can help enhance your exercise program and increase your fitness level. Sarah Flowers, Certified Personal Trainer, is accepting appointments at the senior center. For appointments, please call Sarah directly at 843-514-0164. For Gold Members Only. Individuals, $40 per hour and 2 people, $65 per hour.
Sit & Fit/ EnhanceFitness Level I
This seated class includes warm-up, aerobics, cool-down, strength training, and flexibility exercises. Free for members and adults age 60+. The Monday and Wednesday class is best for beginners.
Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. -12 noon

Donations are appreciated. A $2 fee applies for nonmembers under 60 per class.
Enhance Fitness Level II
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 2 - 3 p.m.
This is a very low intensity, non-impact class which includes 30 minutes of very basic aerobic movements with balance and coordination movements incorporated and 20 minutes of toning exercises using ankle and wrist weights. The class ends with abdominal exercises and stretching. Good for people with low endurance and balance limitations.
Classes are free for members and adults age 60+. Donations are appreciated. A $2 fee applies for nonmembers under 60 per class.

Fit & Firm/Level III Enhance Fitness
Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 - 10 a.m. & 3:15 - 4:15 p.m.
This class includes 30 minutes of high to moderate intensity low-impact aerobics and 20 minutes of toning exercises using ankle and wrist weights. The class ends with abdominal exercises and stretching. This is the most vigorous of the Lifetime classes. Classes are free for members and adults age 60+. Donations are appreciated. A $2 fee applies for nonmembers under 60 per class.

Relaxation Yoga
Join us for a relaxing Saturday morning. Improve your mind, body, and soul combining gentle movements, relaxing positions, and breathing techniques. Please bring your own mat.

Designed for the senior adult who needs to improve flexibility, balance and core strength. Please bring your own mat.

Tai Chi
This class focuses on a system of movements designed to improve your health, increase flexibility and decrease your risk for falls through these gentle movements.

Zumba
Latin-inspired exercise class combines simple dance steps and zesty music! Fun and energizing!
Saturdays, May & June, 9 - 10 a.m.

Arthritis Tai Chi
This class consists of agile steps and exercises that may improve mobility, and relaxation.
